Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald has called for an end to what he has termed as "negative talk" surrounding his panel.
He made the comments after yesterday’s 1-18 to 1-17 loss to Kilkenny saw the Banner relegated to Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League next year.
Clare had led at half-time, thanks in part to a goal from Shane O'Donnell, but an injury time point from wing back Cillian Buckley decided the contest in favour of the Cats.
Fitzgerald says the focus now switches to the Championship opener against Limerick on May 24th.
The semi-final line up for the league was also completed.
Tipperary will meet Waterford after they beat Offaly and Galway respectively, while Cork beat Wexford to set up a meeting with Dublin, who overcame Limerick on Saturday evening.
