Fitzgerald feels Banner focus may have been off for Waterford Clash

Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald felt his players may not have been as focused as they should have be

en after the banner lost their first game of the league in top tier hurling to Waterford.

Clare trailed by a point at the break,1-7 to 2-5, having fought back from conceding two goals in the space of three minutes to Seamus Predegast and Jake Dillon.

However Dillon’s last minute free gave the Deise the win in a match that saw the two sides level 11 separate times during the course of the match.

It ended with a 1-17 to 2-15
