Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald feels the management team have dealt adequately with a disciplinary issue which arose within the squad.
The Sixmilebridge man made the comments after reports emerged that Davy O'Halloran, one of two players to leave the panel last week, said he was "humilated" by Fitzgerald.
The Eire Óg man was deemed to have breached disciplinary guidelines, and says he was forced to train away from the rest of the squad and refused entry to the team's dressing room.
He also claims there was a more serious disciplinary breach by a senior panel member which went unpunished, but speaking to Clare FM, Fitzgerald insisted that all players are treated equally, and he wished O’Halloran and Nicky O’Connell (who also left the panel) well with their clubs.
Clare gave themselves a lifeline in Divison 1A with a hard fought 2-22 to 2-20 win over Dublin. Man of the match Tony Kelly and John Conlon scored the goals.
Next up is a trip to Nowlan Park on Sunday – Brian Cody’s side were beaten 2-22 to 1-13 by Tipperary.
Cork stay top of the Division after their 2-17 to 0-20 win over Galway.
