Goals from Conor McGrath, John Conlon and Shane O'Donnell saw the Banner cruise to a 3-26 to 0-15 win over Offaly, Clare's first championship victory since the All Ireland replay of 2013.
Clare boss Davy Fitzgerald says it was crucial to get the win.
