The draws for the semi-finals of the 2023 TUS Clare senior hurling championship will be made this evening.
Clonlara, Crusheen, Feakle and Scariff will go into the hat, with Crusheen’s 2011 victory now being the most recent among the remaining contenders.
Feakle were first into the hat after seeing off the challenge of Kilmaley, and have bridged a 7 year gap since their last appearance in the final four.
Mark Rodgers accounted for 3-12 of his sides tally as they beat Clooney-Quin after extra-time.
Crusheen upset the odds as three first half goals helped them to overcome Newmarket, while Clonlara battled to a 1-14 to 0-14 win over Eire Óg.
Meanwhile, Clarecastle and Wolfe Tones will be among the intermediate ranks for 2024
The Magpies were relegated for the first time in their history after losing out to O’Callaghan’s Mills, while Doora Barefield overcame Wolfe Tones to secure their top tier status.
