Ferguson demands ban claiming Van Persie could have been killed

Manchester United boss  Alex Ferguson is demanding action is taken against Swansea defender Ashley Williams after their 1-1 draw in the Premier League.

He’s convinced Williams deliberately hit Robin van Persie in the head with a clearance when the Dutchman was on the turf – saying he could have been killed.

Speaking before Sir Alex’s comments, Williams said he tried to apologise and it’s "much ado about nothing."

Chelsea matched their record league victory with their 8-0 thrashing of Aston Villa.

The win moved the Blues up to third, though they are 11 points off top spot.
