It’s reported that Alex Ferguson will have a part in picking Manchester United's new manager and played a role in the sacking of David Moyes.

Fergie is said to have been part of a group of directors including Bobby Charlton and David Gill who made the call to end Moyes’ reign less than a season after he had taken charge.
Carlo Ancelotti, Louis Van Gaal and Diego Simeone are the early favourites to replace him.
Ryan Giggs has been made interim manager but is it not believed to be a long term candidate.
