Fears are growing that there will be no underage soccer competitions held in Clare this year.
It comes as uncertainty continues to surround the formation of the Clare Schoolboys Soccer League committee, with the national body, the SFAI, poised to intervene.
The mass resignations of last years executive led to an interim committee being appointed, but that also fell through after the people proposed for those roles indicated they were not in a position to fulfill them.
It’s understood attempts are underway to resolve the issue with clubs reportedly being contacted to come together in the coming days to find a way forward.
