Fears have been expressed that the finances of Clare GAA will be heavily impacted if the county grounds is unavailable for games during upgrade works.

From Monday June 15th, Cusack Park is set to undergo a major facelift which will see the roof on the main stand replaced. along with new seating, dressing rooms and turnstiles being installed.
The total cost of the project is expected to be in the region of €2.3 million, with clubs contributing toward this through an annual levy.
It's expected once works begin, it won't be made available for games until it's completion, and county board treasurer Bernard Keane feels this will create added pressure
