In the Munster Intermediate Hurling championship, Tommy Guilfoyles Feakle were beaten by the minimuim against Cappoquin of Waterford.

The east Clare men led by 0-10 to 0-5 at half time, but the Deise side snatched the win in the closing stages on a 1-14 to
0-16 scoreline.
Naomh Eoin were also beaten in the Munster Junior Football Championship, going down against Millstreet of Cork by 3-14 to 0-9.
