Ballyea and Crusheen go head to head this evening in the Clare senior hurling championship, with two familiar faces meeting on the sideline.
Balleyea will be able to call on the services of Gary Brennan, after his red card during their opening round win was reduced to a yellow on appeal.
There are some concerns about the fitness of his brother Cillian though, who was forced off with injury during Clondegad’s win over Eire Óg last weekend.
Hogan is hopeful they can build on a positive start to their campaign.
Meanwhile 2018 championship winning manager Kevin Sheehan will be facing off against his native parish, who are managed by the man he played under during their 2016 Munster Club winning campaign.
Sheehan took over the reins in Crusheen at the start of this year, and will be looking to bounce back from their opening round loss to Cratloe
He says while it will be strange to be plotting the downfall of his home club, he is firmly in the Crusheen camp for the 2021 season.
Throw in this evening is at 6.30pm with live commentary on Clare FM in association with O’Sullivan Hansbury Motors, Kilrush Road Ennis
