The draw for the Quarter Finals of the Clare Senior Football Championship has thrown some familiar foes face to face once more.

A repeat of the 2015 final is the pick of the ties, as St Josephs Miltown and Cooraclare clash for the third year in a row.

The Sky Blues have yet to come out on top in those clashes, but Clare FM analyst and Cooraclare clubman Joe Garry feels they’re now well equipped to put that right.

Champions Kilmurry Ibrickane and Eire Óg are also set to renew their recent rivalry, with the sides meeting for the fourth time in the last five years.

The Townies ended the Brick’s championship hopes in two of those encounters while Kilmurry exacted revenge with a first round victory in 2016.

Doonbeg and Clondegad will meet for the second year running, with the Magpies coming out on top when they clashed 12 months ago.

Cratloe will have to wait a bit longer to find out their opponents as Lissycasey and Ennistymon have still to meet in their Round Three tie with that game now expected to be played in two weeks time.
