The 120th staging of the South of Ireland championship is underway this morning at Lahinch Golf Club.
Four Clare competitors are among the 150 strong field for the 36-hole strokeplay qualifier which runs across today and tomorrow.
The home charge is led by Lahinch duo Aaron McNulty and Stephen Loftus, who are joined in the field by Killian Howard of Dromoland Castle and Shane Lillis of Kilrush.
