Clare boss Terence Fahy says he’s proud of the way his side battled to secure a draw in their opening round game of the Munster U20 hurling championship.
The Banner shared the spoils with Cork on a 1-16 apiece scoreline under the lights in O’Garney Park Sixmilebridge.

Clare played the closing quarter of the game with 14 men, and could have snatched victory with a late free that trailed wide.
Fahy says players showed great character to grind out a result.
