Fahy Confident Of Bright Future For Young Banner Stars Despite U20 Disappointment

Clare U20 hurling manager Terence Fahy is confident there is a bright future for his players as they move on to senior level.

A second defeat in the group stages ended Clare’s interest in this years competition at the grade, with Cork sealing a 1-19 to 1-17 win at O’Garney Park Sixmilebridge.

Shane Meehan, Cian Galvin and Patrick Crotty are among those who will now focus on Clare’s Munster senior hurling championship campaign, with a number of their team mates in the U20 panel expected to make the step up in the coming years.
