Fahy blames departure on poor player attendance

Clare Camogie boss Patsy Fahy has cited poor player attendance for his decision to resign as  manager.

Fahy came to the decision to quit following a meeting between players and management on Friday night last – selectors Ger O’Halloran and Eamon O’Loughlin have also resigned their positions.

In a statement to Clare FM, the county camogie board said attendances have been poor as over 20 players have college commitments.
