The Waterford county board have confirmed they will appoint two ex-players to work alongside the executive to find a manager for the senior hurlers.

It was also decided the new manager won’t have to confirm his backroom team before applying.
No potential candidates were named at last night’s meeting.
The current panel came in for criticism from some delegates following their withdrawal of support for Michael Ryan and the manner in which it was handled.
