Ennis Swimmer ‘At His Peak’ As He Prepares For Olympic Trials

An Ennis swimmer believes he’s at the peak of his powers as he prepares for Irish Olympic Trials next month.

22-year-old Rory McEvoy is aiming to get a spot on the plane to compete in the 100 metre backstroke in Tokyo this summer, along with fellow Irish hopeful Shane Ryan.

McEvoy will compete with Antrim swimmer Conor Ferguson for a place in the Irish Olympic squad, and is currently preparing for April’s trials in the High Performance Centre in Dublin.
