Ennis Swimmer McEvoy To Take Part In Olympic Trials

Ennis swimmer Rory McEvoy will aim to make his Olympic dream a reality this morning.

The 22-year-old will take part in the 100 metre backstroke trials in Dublin from 10am with a spot on the plane to Tokyo still to be filled.

The Ennis man will fight it out with Antrim swimmer Conor Fergsuon to join Shane Ryan, who competed in the 2016 Rio games, in the Irish team for the event.
