Ennis Rugby’s head coach is optimistic about the number of young players coming through at the club despite the cancellation of their season.
All junior rugby has been cancelled for this season by the IRFU, while the All Ireland leagues will also not get underway until the autumn at the earliest.
Ennis had only played one competitive games before Christmas – a heavy loss to Newcastle West in the North Transfield Cup – before level five restrictions ground their campaign to a halt.
