In athletics, Rory Chesser of Ennis Track has won a seventh national title in the 3,000 metres steeplechase event.
Chesster took gold in the National Championships in Santry yesterday, with a comfortable distance between him and the silver medalist, Mark Hanrahan, also of Ennis Track.
Chesser won in 9:39.62.
