Ennis athlete Jo Keane has progressed to the 800m semi-finals at the U20 European Championships.
The 18-year-old, who runs with Ennis Track Athletic Club, is representing her country in Sweden this week.

She came third in her heat earlier in a time of 2:09.28, qualifying comfortably for the semi-final of the sprint, which will be held shortly at 12:40pm tomorrow.
Last year, Jo reached this stage of the World Championships in her age grade, which was held in Finland.
Another great qualification in the Women’s 800m by Jo Keane, placing 3rd in a time of 2:09.28.
