Daniel Sturridge's late goal saw England snatch a dramatic 2-1 win in Lens.

Gareth Bale's stunning long-range free-kick in the 42nd minute gave Wales the lead at half-time

But England manager Roy Hodgson responded by introducing Jamie Vardy and Sturridge at half-time – and both players scored.

Vardy fired home from close range in the 56th minute before Sturridge's instinctive finish in injury time that clinched all 3 points.

Today's other two matches will both be in Group C.

Northern Ireland need a win against the Ukraine in Lyon if they're to retain any realistic chance of reaching the knock-out stages, with kick-off at 5pm.

Meanwhile, there's an 8 o'clock start in Paris where Poland and neighbours Germany will go head-to-head.

At the Ireland camp today, Jonathan Walters and Kieran Westwood sat-out training with the rest of the squad in Versailles.

Walters is recovering from his achillies injury while Westwood has a back problem.
