A protest due to be held by members of Eire Og outside Cusack Park tonight has been called off after their long standing dispute over their ability to field teams at under-age levels was resolved.
Following a meeting with the Clare Hearings Committee last night, the club has been told that it will be allowed to field teams from Under-6 to Under-12 levels this year.

A spokesperson for Eire Og says they are very pleased with the outcome and an information evening to update parents on the situation will be held on Friday.
