Ogonelloe’s Patrick McMillan will make history this weekend as the first Clare man to compete at the Winter Olympics.
The East Clare native is part of a five strong Team Ireland in Pyeongchang with the opening ceremony taking place today.

Patrick will compete in three events, beginning at 2am Irish time on Sunday morning in the downhill Alpine Skiing.
He will also be in action on Tuesday and Thursday next week.
