Earls endorses Axel for place in Irish Coaching set up

One of Munster’s leading stars has endorsed the coaching credentials of Anthony Foley, as the Killaloe man reportedly gets set to take a place in the Ireland coaching set-up.

Foley is now back with Munster, helping Rob Penney prepare his team for the upcoming Heineken Cup double header against Saracens.

Prior to that, however, he had worked as Defence Coach to the Irish national team during the November internationals, and reports state he could move full-time to the national side should Declan Kidney remain in charge beyond next year’s Six Nations.
