The manager of Eire Óg's hurlers has called for a change in structures in the Clare club season.
Seamus Durack's Townies take on Tubber tomorrow in the Losers Round of the Clare Senior Championship, knowing that their Championship hopes will be over if they are to be beaten.
However, the former All-Star says the task for dual clubs such as Eire Óg is made more difficult by the way in which the season here is structured.
Meanwhile, David Reidy won't be available for Eire Óg tomorrow – he's now in America.
This weekend also sees action in the Intermediate Championship.
Tomorrow, Scariff meet Parteen, Smith O'Briens take on Clarecastle, Inagh-Kilnamona go up against Wolfe Tones, St. Joseph's face Ogonnelloe and Cratloe meet Ruan.
Then on Sunday, Broadford play Corofin, Killanena face Sixmilebridge and Crusheen go up against Newmarket.
