The Clare Senior Hurlers progress to the Waterford Crystal Cup semi finals after a six point win over Limerick.
Clarecastles Bobby Duggan dominated the score sheet for Davy Fitzgeralds side hitting twelve points on his senior debut, eight of which came from frees.
It finished 1-14 to 0-11, Eire Og’s David Reidy with the goal, while Clonlara’s Cathal O’Connell and Ruans Killian Ryan also added a point each to the final tally.
Clare now meet UCC in the semi final next Sunday, at a Clare venue to be confirmed
UCC overcame Mary I 3-28 to 2-11.
Brian Lohans University of Limerick wil meet Tipperary in the other semi final.
UL beat Waterford IT 2-30 to 1-20, while Tipperary overcame Kerry 2-16 to 0-08.
