Duggan Looks To The Future As Clare Fall Short In All Ireland Camogie Championship

The captain of the Clare senior camogie side is urging the squad to look to the future after seeing their championship season come to an end.

A pair of goals from Galway saw them beat the Banner by 2-11 to 0-11 in Cusack Park this weekend, meaning Clare’s bid to reach the knockout stages just came up short.

This year saw Patricia O’Grady’s side beating Waterford and drawing with Kilkenny, but losses to Dublin and the Tribeswomen proved their undoing.

Clooney/Quin’s Orlaith Duggan says while it’s disappointing, they have to look to continue building for the future.
