Connacht captain Gavin Duffy has been called into the Ireland squad in New Zealand as cover following the injury to Keith Earls.
Earls picked up a pectoral muscle injury in the later stages of the first test against New Zealand in Auckland and will not be available for selection for the second test in Christchurch.
