Dublin narrowly defeated Tyrone by 18 points to 17 to claim their first Alianz Football League title in 20 years.

Tyrone were struck an early blow when their talismanic captain Stephen O’ Neill was unable to line-out due to an injury during warm-up.
However they were more than a match for the Dubs and were just pipped at the end of a very tight game in Croke Park.
Earlier Derry defeated Westmeath by 1-18 to 15 points in the Division 2 decider.
They were level on 15 points heading into injury time.
However Derry scored a goal and 3 points in quick succession to finish off the game.
