Two late points in extra time saw the Deise side win by 1-13 to 2-8 after an incident packed game.

The goals for Colm Collins men both came in the opening half with Cathal McInerney and Conor Ryan finding the net, while Conor Gleeson bagged one for the home side.

At the end of normal time, it was Cratloe 2-7 The Nire 1-10, with a late Gleeson point levelling matters for the Waterford men.

Cratloe added just a single point in the added time, and it was the Nire who struck late to grab the win.

Cratloe manager Colm Collins said the winners made things very difficult for his side.

The Nire now play Austin Stacks of Kerry in the final after they beat Cork side Ballincollig by 0-15 to 1-9, that one also after extra time.
