Dream start for Harrington on day two of Irish open

Padraig Harrington’s made a dream start to day 2 of the Irish Open at Royal Portrush.

The three time major winner’s birdied the first two holes to move to 7 under which is five shots behind leader Gregory Bourdy (pr: Bore-dee).

Rory McIlroy and Paul McGinley are both already in the clubhouse on 5 under while Darren Clarke, Shane Lowry and Simon Thornton all finished up on 4 under.

Out on the course Mark Murphy and Mark Sullivan are also minus 4 in the early stages of their rounds.
