The draws have been made for the quarter-finals of the Clare senior hurling championship.
They were brought forward following a request from TG4, which was given the go ahead at
Tuesday’s county board meeting.
A number of final round group games are to be played this weekend the results of which will finalise some of the last eight pairings.
Three-in-a-row seeking Sixmilebridge have drawn Éire Óg while Newmarket on Fergus will take on their neighbours, Wolfe Tones in what should be an intriguing derby.
In the remaining quarter-finals, Ballyea or Cratloe will play Kilmaley or Clonlara, while Inagh-Kilnamona will meet the loser of Ballyea v Cratloe.
The games will be played on the weekend of October 16th and 17th.
