Draws made for Clare U21 Hurling Championship

The draws have been made for the 2016 Clare U21 Hurling Championships.

The defending champions in the top tier will have to go the longest route if they're to retain their title. 

Kilmaley are the reigning holders of the A crown and they face Corofin/Ruan in the preliminary round. The winners of this meet Tulla in the last eight. 

Clonlara await the winners of the other preliminary tie, as Wolfe Tones meet Inagh/Kilnamona. 

Last years beaten finalists Eire Og meet Sixmilebridge in the last eight while Feakle/Killenana take on Clarecastle. 

In the B championship there are four Round One ties. O'Callaghans Mills meet Crusheen/Tubber, with the winners meeting whoever comes through between Broadford & Bodyke. 

Smith O'Briens go up against Scarriff/Ogonnelloe, with the winners here facing either St Joseph's Doora Barefield or Parteen/Meelick. 

In the quarter finals, Cratloe are drawn against Newmarket & Ballyea will face Clooney/Quin. 

The C quarter finals are 

1. Whitegate v Clarecastle
2. Scariff v Ballyea
3. Kilmaley v Banner
4. St J Doora/Barefield v Ennistymon
