Davy Fitzgerald will face his old friends in Waterford in the Munster Hurling Semi Final, while Limerick await the winners of reigning Munster champions Tipperary and Cork.
Colm Collins and the footballers face Limerick for the second year in a row in the quarter final, with the winners facing Kerry in the last four.
The other last eight tie sees Tipperary take on Waterford with Cork awaiting in the semi final.
