The draws for the next stage of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship will be made this evening.
Defending champions Sixmilebridge are among the teams going into the hat for the playoff round, while some big names will be involved in the battle to avoid the drop.
Safely into the last eight are Eire Óg, Feakle, Clonlara and Crusheen after they recorded their second wins of the campaign.
Newmarket on Fergus, who lead the roll of honour in Clare, will be involved in the relegation battle after suffering defeat against Ballyea.
2004 champions Kilmaley will also be battling to avoid the drop after losing out to Sixmilebridge, while Tulla consigned Inagh/Kilnamona to the relegation playoffs.
The fourth team fighting for survival are Whitegate after they lost out to Cratloe.
Going into the draw for the playoff round are Sixmilebridge, Clarecastle, Tulla, Ballyea, O'Callaghans Mills, Clooney/Quin, Wolfe Tones and Cratloe.
Those games are scheduled to take place in two weeks time, with the draw tonight at Clare GAA HQ in Clareabbey at 6.15pm
