Last years finalists Cratloe and Crusheen are both involved in the playoff draw, along with Newmarket, Kilmaley, Tulla, O'Callaghans Mills, Inagh/Kilnamona and Eire Óg.

2013 champions Sixmilebridge booked their spot in the last eight after beating Crusheen on Saturday evening, and manager John O'Meara says it was vital to get over the line after their opponents made a strong start

Four sides are now out of the 2015 Championship after losing their second championship game, with last years semi finalists Clarecastle among them.

Also going into the relegation mix are last years intermediate champions Feakle who lost their derby encounter with neighbours Tulla.

Former Feakle boss Tommy Guilfoyle feels that the loss of momentum is now a real concern

Completing the relegation draw will be Tubber and Whitegate.
