Clare’s minor hurlers saw their bid to reach consecutive finals fall agonisingly short as they suffered a 1-21 to 2-17 loss to Limerick in the curtain raiser at Cusack Park.
Sean Doyle’s side led by two points as the game entered injury time but the Shannonsiders produced a storming finish to take the win and book a spot in the Munster Final against Tipperary.

It means the Banner finish the campaign with one win from the four games played with that victory coming against Waterford while they also lost out to Cork and Tipperary.
Doyle says they’re proud of how their players applied themselves throughout the campaign.
