Tuamgraney handball club’s Leah Minogue has won the ladies 19 & under doubles at the 66th United States Handball Association Championships in San Francisco.
The East Clare native alongside doubles partner Jodie Keeling of St.Joseph’s in Wexford overcame the stiff opposition of Cork’s Carmel Kelleher and Kilkenny’s Katie Jordan.

Earlier this week Minogue overcame her doubles partner to scoop first place in the 19 & under singles four wall competition.
There was national success today too for Quin’s Sean Considine and Tuamgraney’s Claire Minogue who won the U-13 boys and U-15 girls Tim Healy Memorial Tournaments in Cork respectively.
