Sam Maguire is heading to the north-west, Donegal have beaten Mayo 2-11 to 13points in the All-Ireland senior football final at Croke Park.
Michael Murphy and Colm McFadden with the Donegal goals – both inside the opening ten minutes of the game, Mayo reduced the gap to 3 points at half time but Donegal ensured they were ahead by 4pts when the final when the final whistle went.
