St Josephs Miltown have been beaten in the Munster Club Football Final
The Clare champions lost out to a powerful Dr Crokes side who ran out winners by 1-21 to 2-9.
The Kerry men had the ideal start with a David Shaw goal helping them to lead by 1-6 to 0-2 inside the opening quarter.
Oisin Looney’s goal cut the gap to five points with ten minutes to go to the break but the Crokes still led at half time by 1-10 to 1-4.
The second half would prove a much tighter affair but the Kerry sides ability to convert the majority of their scoring chances meant that lead was never in any real danger.
Miltown did strike for a late goal through Darragh McDonagh but it wasn’t enough to stop the Killarney based outfit from claiming the silverware.
