Clare captain Cian Dillon says the squad will need to refocus quickly after suffering their first defeat of 2017 in the Munster Hurling League.
Limerick inflicted a 2-15 to 0-19 defeat on the Banner, with goals in either half proving the difference in Sixmilebridge.
It now means Clare must beat Waterford on Sunday to have a chance of making it through to the final of this years competition.
