Diarmuid Ryan Named GAA/GPA Hurler Of The Month

Clare’s Diarmuid Ryan has been chosen as the GAA/GPA hurler of the month for May.

The Cratloe clubman was a key part of the Banners run to Sundays Munster hurling final.

He consistently contributed key scores from the half back line, including a brilliant late winner against Cork which sent Brian Lohans side through to the decider.

It’s the second month in a row that the award has gone to a Clare player, with John Conlon scooping the honour for April.
