Full details have been announced for the 2013 International Junior Tour of Ireland Cycling Race, which is to be held in Clare this summer.
The event, which will play host to competitors from across Ireland and beyond, begins on Tuesday July 2nd with an individual time trial in and around Clarecastle.
The remaining five stages then all start in Ennis, with stage 2 passing through much of East Clare before finishing in Crusheen.
Stages 3 and 4 start and finish in the county town, with both passing through large parts of North Clare.
Stage 5 is an 80km test from Ennis to Cooraclare while the concluding stage on Sunday July 7th will start in Ennis and finish on a climb at Gallows Hill in the south-east of the county.
Cycling legend Sean Kelly was on hand for last night’s launch of the route of the race, and says it promises to be an exciting event.
