Deirdre Murphy is to take up the role as Head of Operations with Clare GAA next month.
The Clooney-Quin clubwoman has been chosen out of an initial field of 16 candidates for the job, which is seen as an integral part of Clare GAA’s Strategic Plan.

Murphy is now set to oversee the ‘effective development’ of both codes in the county, and has previous experience in management roles in both the Camogie Association and the University of Limerick.
Chair of Clare GAA Kieran Keating says he’s hopeful the new Head of Operations will hit the ground running.
