Clare’s Diarmaid Nash has been defeated in the Final of the ‘Race 4 Eight’ Pro Stop handball tournament in Houston, Texas.
The Tuamgraney Club man beat favourite Emmet Peixoto in the Semi final last night, to set up the ultimate decider against World Number 2 Luis Moreno.
Moreno winning out this afternoon over two games 21-12, 21-15.
Closer to home, there was one Clare winner at the Munster championships this afternoon.
Tulla’s Niall Bolton won his Munster semi final in the Under 21 singles in Cappagh.
