Decision on refixed Six Nations Clash expected today

 

A suggestion that the re-fixed game with France could be played in June or September has been dismissed by sources within the IRFU.

Irish coach Declan Kidney has cancelled a two day training camp in Belfast following the news that the re-fixture against France will not take place next weekend.

A squad of 30 players will gather for a shorter one day camp tomorrow in Kildare after which the players not picked to start against France will be released back to their clubs for the Rabo Direct Pro 12 matches this weekend.

Another announcement regarding the game is expected today from the Six Nations today but former Ireland captain Keith Wood says moving the game to outside the tournaments normal window is not acceptable.
