Clare will find out today if they've been granted a postponment to their final Munster Hurling League group game.

The Banner are due to play Cork on Wednesday night, but have asked for the game to be pushed back as there are 13 of the current panel involved in tomorrow's Fitzgibbon Cup fixtures.

Clare got back to winning ways in the Munster League with a 2-19 to 3-13 win over Waterford yesterday, meaning if they were to beat Cork, they would qualify for the final where they would meet the Rebels again.

Clare joint manager Gerry O'Connor praised the way his side battled to get the victory

In Leinster Brian Cody's Kilkenny set up a Walsh Cup semi-final date with Davy Fitzgerald's Wexford after they comfortably beat Westmeath by 4-18 to 0-18 in Mullingar.

Galway also sealed a semi-final spot with a 1-19 to 0-16 win over Laois in Rathowney.
