Clare Senior Hurling boss Davy Fitzgerald has shrugged off suggestions that the Banner’s loss to Tipperary in the Waterford Crystal Cup Final could affect his team’s preparations for Sunday’s game against Antrim.

However, the Sixmilebridge man has also warned that the Northerners will provide Clare with a stern test at Cusack Park this Sunday.
Clare beat Antrim by a point in each of their previous two seasons, but are seen as red hot favourites this weekend, having beaten Limerick in their opening match of the league campaign.
However, Fitzgerald insists his men will take nothing for granted.
